About Ready|Set|Go!
Ready|Set|Go! is the combined dance production effort of Katherine Hodges and Rosalyn Nasky. Since their first partnering in 2008 to produce a mixed choreography showcase at clear spring studio, Rosalyn and Katherine have continued to expand their vision of catalyzing the contemporary dance community in Austin.
Our Mission
Ready|Set|Go! is committed to providing professional performance opportunities for emerging Austin area choreographers, aiding in communication between local choreographers and dancers, increasing the visibility of cutting-edge contemporary dance in Austin, and growing an audience base for thought-provoking new work. In the past three years, Ready|Set|Go! has produced four successful full length shows featuring original dance from local choreographers to enthusiastic audiences. In the coming years, Ready|Set|Go! will continue to provide a venue for innovative dance performance as well as to create a movement based forum for local dancers and choreographers to exchange ideas and challenge each other to new levels of artistic growth, the Choreography Exchange. This coming fall, Ready|Set|Go! is partnering with Spank Dance company for the second year to host Austin Works in Progress at Salvage Vanguard Theater. Ready|Set|Go! desires to help cultivate a cohesive contemporary dance community from which raw, adventurous, and professional art can be created and produced.
