Katherine Hodges lives in Austin and is the artistic director of Ready/Set/Go!, a dance production company that seeks to give visibility to thought-provoking new work.  In addition to producing, Katherine choreographs and performs in her own work, and dances with local choreographers including Ellen Bartel, Mari Akita, Rosalyn Nasky and Errin Delperdang. Katherine also creates movement based film pieces, and will be one of the featured artists for the November installment of Dances Made to Order, curated by Spank Dance. Her recent projects includes: Driftwood, a collaborative duet with Maia McCoy, Tunnel a site specific piece done on railings under a bridge, and her 4 one minute videos Stare, Stuck, Aside and Against from Big Range Austin 2011.  In the next few months she will be performing a solo collaboration with cellist Leanne Zacharias at Fast Forward Austin, working on a performative art video with artist Ruta Perzynska, and creating her own new work for performance at the next Ready/Set/Go! show Here and Now.
